What’s Your Favorite?: It’s Happening! August 14, 2026

It's time for my Friday link up with A Little Bit of Everything and Momfessionals.

On Fridays I share things that made me happy from the week - a photo, a song, a quote, a beauty product, a recipe, a pair of cute shoes, etc. If it's a product, sometimes it's something I actually own and sometimes something I just saw online that gave me a smile. Sometimes it's serious and sometimes it's silly. I suppose I believe that God is in the simple details of life and yes, I can even find Him in a tube of lipstick.

Happy Friday! We arrived back at Lake Anna in Virginia on Sunday after three straight weeks of living as if we were running from the cops. This is where we will be for the foreseeable future until we decide where we would like to spend the next chapter of our lives. We have some ideas, but if the Lord might see fit to offer a pillar of cloud and a pillar of fire that would be just fine, thank you very much.

Anyway, It’s been nuts trying to unpack and get settled so today on Friday Favorites instead of listing some things, I’m asking for your help. Pretty please.

I received the edits back on my book, so this week I’ll have my head in my laptop getting the manuscript ready for proofreading. In addition to the edits, I received three different cover options from the publisher. When I opened them up, I was super chill about it . . .

Or maybe not at all. This is all getting very real and since I am not a good decision maker - especially with artsy-design-creative things - I’m turning to you, my friends.

Here are three options. And I would so very much appreciate your opinions. If you’re up for it, I can make it a bit more complicated for you. I’m able to mix and match fonts, images, etc. from one cover to the other for the final product. For example: Maybe you’d choose #1’s title font with #2’s image of the shoes, with #3’s author’s name font, with #2’s field image, etc. Or if that’s too much for your brain like it is mine, you could just tell me if you like #1, #2 or #3 best.

I so appreciate every pair of eyes that passes by here each week. You are my people and your taking the time to give me some feedback means the world to me.
