5 Friday Favorites: July 3, 2026
It's time for my Friday link up with A Little Bit of Everything and Momfessionals.
On Fridays I share things that made me happy from the week - a photo, a song, a quote, a beauty product, a recipe, a pair of cute shoes, etc. If it's a product, sometimes it's something I actually own and sometimes something I just saw online that gave me a smile. Sometimes it's serious and sometimes it's silly. I suppose I believe that God is in the simple details of life and yes, I can even find Him in a tube of lipstick.
Happy 4th of July Weekend, my fellow Americans! I will have 27 family members celebrating here at Lake Anna in Virginia this weekend, so needless to say this will be quick. Here are some favorite things from the week.
Hanes PJ/Lounge Set
Merrill, Kyle’s girlfriend, had this lounge set on yesterday. The color is gorgeous.
2.Butterfly Season by Ella Langley
Ella Langley’s new album continues to the be soundtrack of my summer. My new favorite is the song Butterfly Season.
3. Boursin Cheese & Fig Dip
I first heard about this dip on the Big Boo Podcast, but then when we were in Savannah, my in-law’s delightful friend Jeannie had us over for dinner one night and served it. It is so good.
4. A Dress to celebrate 250 years . . .
… or maybe if you have a side gig as a candy striper at your local hospital. I’m not sure yet. I ordered this maxi dress from Loft and it arrived yesterday so we’ll see. Loft is having crazy good deals right now. The dress is down from $99 to $39 and it’s possible there is a code or some other discount right now so you could get this for mere pennies.
5. Let Freedom Ring
I hope you all have the most fun and safe celebrations. Goodness gracious, am I grateful to live in this country. God Bless America.
