5 Friday Favorites: June 19, 2026

It's time for my Friday link up with A Little Bit of Everything and Momfessionals

On Fridays I share things that made me happy from the week - a photo, a song, a quote, a beauty product, a recipe, a pair of cute shoes, etc. If it's a product, sometimes it's something I actually own and sometimes something I just saw online that gave me a smile. Sometimes it's serious and sometimes it's silly. I suppose I believe that God is in the simple details of life and yes, I can even find Him in a tube of lipstick.

Hi, Friends. Since last week’s newsletter we moved out of one house and into another which is a simple sentence to write, but not a simple thing to do. I have packed and unpacked a zillion boxes, run up and down a zillion stairs, and had a zillion meltdowns. I’m exhausted and had very little time for writing this week, but was able to take some breaks here and there to find some favorite things. So for this week in addition to Advil, Salon pas patches and bathtubs full of Epsom Salts here are this week’s Friday Favorites.

  1. The Calamity Club

It is very rare that I will include a book on Friday Favorites if I haven’t finished it, but I’m making an exception. This book by the author of The Help which was one of my favorite books ever is so good. If you are a person who listens to audio books, I highly recommend listening. This story kept me going all week while I unpacked boxes and I still have more than half of it to go.

2. Pilcro Denim Swing Dress

Oh my goodness, this dress is the cutest. It’s probably too short for me, but maybe not for you. I think it looks great with cowboy boots.

3. Sampeel Round Neck Trimmed Tank Top

This white tank with the multicolored block trim is fun and is 50% off today. There are lots of different color and pattern options.

4. Megfie Sleeveless Linen Dress

This looks like an easy summer dress to wear when it gets crazy hot. There are about five different colors available.

5. Now it Springs Up

Forget the former things;

do not dwell on the past.

See I am doing a new thing

Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?

I am making a way in the wilderness

and streams in the wasteland

Isaiah 43:18-19

As we are entering a new season, I am hopefully expectant about all the ways God’s presence will be revealed to us. We’ve seen lots of evidence of Him already.

And in the midst of change, I am grateful to the God who is the same yesterday, today and forever. Have a blessed weekend.
